Known as a festive, convivial wine, rosé has increasingly become a trend in the global wine market. The French Union of Oenologists wanted to honor this trend by organizing an annual rosé competition.

Each year a panel of judges composed of around 60 tasters ranks all selected samples. They then deliberate to select the award-winning wines. These awards serve as proof of quality for many large retailers and buyers.
